Tharstern, an MIS technology specialist for print, packaging and labeling industries, is in the running for a top industry award from the British Association for Print and Communications (BAPC). Association chairman Sidney Bobb has confirmed that Tharstern has been shortlisted for “Supplier of the Year” for its annual awards that will be held in London early in the new year.

Since a management buyout three years ago, the business has continued to grow and now also has a highly successful North American operation.

Client feedback has played a pivotal role in shaping thinking for Tharstern that invests heavily in research and development. Its MIS (Management Information Systems) are recognized across the world and the company has a strong customer focus.

The BAPC’s Bobb says, “As an association run by printers for printers that shares a wealth of knowledge and experience, we regularly meet companies that make a truly positive impact in the print and communications industry. Tharstern is one of these elite companies and will be receiving a certificate to acknowledge being shortlisted for these sought-after awards. I wish them and the other companies every success.”
