Jemmco has announced the addition of the JemmTron CRS100 conductive corona treater sleeve to its full line of JemmTron corona treating products. The Jemmtron CRS100 was designed to offer customers an affordable alternative to ceramic for dual dielectric and bare roll corona treater applications. By eliminating the need for spare rollers and two-way shipping costs, this economical sleeve is changing the traditional corona treating environment, the company says.

According to a third-party, independent study comparing the JemmTron CRS100  to traditional ceramic, the CRS100 sleeve performed equal to or better than traditional ceramic in every category, including higher treat levels, the corona treatment aging effect, better surface energy stabilization, reduction of backside treat, reduced energy waste and more.

“We are very excited to see the results of the study confirm our expectations for the CRS100. Our customers are very pleased with the sleeve and are enjoying the flexibility brought by reduced overhead and easy, in-plant installation.” says Melissa Lang, VP of sales and marketing.

The JemmTron CRS100 is a low-cost rubber sleeve with excellent wear resistance that can easily be installed in-plant. Along with the JemmTron CRS100 sleeve, Jemmco also offers other corona treating equipment such as Epoxy corona treater roll coverings, dielectric ceramic roller coverings and corona treater electrodes.
