PRINTING United Expo has earned the distinction as the only event in North America that brings together all segments of the printing industry under one roof, allowing attendees to explore cross-market opportunities and emerging technologies first-hand. From label and package printing to garments and large format, PRINTING United Expo has the industry covered.

This year, PRINTING United Expo, the Alliance’s flagship event, will take place October 22-24, 2025, in Orlando, FL, USA. Here, the entire printing industry can gather in one place, learning all about the latest trends and technologies set to impact their businesses. Automation, sustainability, and digital printing are but a few of the topics that will dominate conversation across the crowded show floor. The 2025 edition will build off of 2024, with the show floor in Orlando already at 93% sold out at the time of publication.

“The printing industry has undergone significant transformation, driven by automation, AI, sustainability, digital adoption, and diversification across market segments,” says Mark Subers, Chief Innovation Officer, PRINTING United Alliance, and immediate past President of PRINTING United Expo. “We’ve seen a continued convergence of print technologies, with commercial printers expanding into packaging, apparel decorators investing in direct-to-film (DTF) printing, and industrial applications integrating new inkjet solutions. The demand for customization, shorter print runs, and sustainable materials continues to grow, shaping the future of print production.”

PRINTING United Expo exhibitors will showcase the latest in digital, offset, textile, packaging, and functional printing solutions, making it easier for businesses to identify new revenue streams. Each year, PRINTING United Expo utilizes attendee feedback to help curate the agenda for the following year. Positive feedback in 2024 has the association poised to host another landmark event in 2025.

“Feedback from PRINTING United Expo 2024 highlighted the importance of hands-on technology demonstrations, peer networking, and high-quality educational sessions for attendees and exhibitors around the world,” remarks Subers. “Expo attendees and exhibitors cite their appreciation for the ability to connect across print segments and explore new business opportunities in a single venue. As a result, we’re expanding content offerings, refining networking experiences, and enhancing show floor activations like the Apparel Zone, various segment-specific forums, the always-sold-out Women in Print Alliance Luncheon, and market-focused gatherings to ensure we meet the evolving needs of the industry.”

Throughout the years, PRINTING United Expo has experienced a significant transformation. The well-attended event continues to add new features, specifically in the label and packaging realm.

“Our label and packaging presence continues to expand as more printers look to diversify their offerings and leverage high-growth sectors,” explains Subers. “With advances in digital packaging, flexible substrates, and hybrid print solutions, PRINTING United Expo has seen increased participation from leading label converters, flexible packaging specialists, and corrugated print providers.

“Dedicated spaces for package printing and automation continue to grow, reflecting the sector’s importance in the overall print ecosystem,” Subers adds. “We continue to attract digital label OEMs, such as Durst, Gallus, Konica Minolta, and Screen, as they have experienced strong ROI from their previous years of exhibiting. We are expecting many new label exhibitors to PRINTING United Expo as this show is the only printing and packaging event of scale in North America in 2025.”
