Mactac details new leadership, UPM grows and more

Mactac has made three key personnel announcements, and the other top stories of the week.

Mactac has announced key leadership updates designed to accelerate the company’s strategic growth, drive innovation, and enhance execution across the organization.

Noelle Sieradzki joined Mactac on May 12 as vice president of sales and marketing for the Graphics and Merchant Products (Sheets) areas of the business. Janet Page has also been promoted to director of Mactac’s Technical Industrial Tapes business unit. Finally, Chris Barushak has been promoted to director of Business Transformation and Strategy, where he will spearhead many of Mactac’s high-impact business initiatives, including the implementation of the enterprise-wide ERP system.

Meanwhile, UPM Specialty Papers will invest over 10 million euros in the modernization of the UPM Tervasaari mill in Valkeakoski, Finland. The investment will allow UPM Specialty Papers to boost capacity and improve production stability in its highly specialized products, such as glassines and flexible packaging papers.
