In the competitive world of label printing, having the right press for your business is essential. And for label converters looking to enter digital printing for the first time, or add another digital press to their arsenal, it’s important to not only choose the right press but, equally if not more important, the right provider.

Domino is excited to introduce the N410 digital LED inkjet label press, adding to its range of N-Series presses. The N410 makes its debut at Labelexpo Europe in Barcelona, Spain, September 16-19, at the Domino booth 3E91. L&NW recently caught up with David Ellen, Domino Global Divisional Director – Digital Printing, to learn more about this exciting news.

NEW! Domino N410 digital LED inkjet label press

DE: Although digital printing has become extremely popular in the label sector, the initial investment can be a barrier for those looking to add digital for the first time. While lower cost options are available, some converters are hesitant to commit to a purchase from a lesser-known partner without local support. The launch of the N410 enables Domino to offer converters the best of both worlds: a low-cost label press backed by the expertise of a trusted supplier with a world-class service and support network.

DE: In addition to a lower-cost entry to the flexibility and efficiency of digital printing, the N410 has a small footprint (Height: 7.2 ft (2.2m) / Depth: 6.5ft (2m) / Length: 13.7ft (4.2m), integrated control cabinets saving valuable floor space, and fast installation and setup time. It produces labels at print speeds up to 164 fpm (50 m/m). N410 provides consistent 5-color CMYK+W print and enables production of high-quality labels with 600dpi resolution for a wide range of applications. Future-proof, energy-efficient UV LED curing technology ensures low power consumption, making the N410 a cost-effective and sustainable choice.

DE: The N410 is powered by the latest version of Domino’s new AI-enabled Sunrise Digital Front End (DFE) workflow – also premiering at Labelexpo Europe. The press features Sunrise’s core modules, giving converters enhanced control over their printing process. Benefits include fast ripping to maximize uptime, and easy, accurate print cost estimates using the Job Cost Calculator. Sunrise also offers convenient, centralized control of the print settings for different substrates via Domino Media Manager.

DE: No matter if you’re a label converter taking the first steps into digital, a seasoned digital printing user looking to expand capacity quickly at an affordable price, or a converter ready to bring outsourced digital jobs in-house for greater control and efficiency, Domino has a digital press for every converter. And most importantly, Domino is a true business partner that will be there with you every step of the way.”
