Phoenix Challenge Foundation announces golf tournament winners

First Place with a few friends and alumni

The Phoenix Challenge Foundation has announced the results of their annual Golf Outing held on September 17, 2025. With perfect weather and fantastic camaraderie, the event was touted as tremendous success.

The first-place team featured Bill Easley from PCMC, along with Richard Voisinet, Tony Selcz, and Mickey Shell, all representing the Interflex Group. Second-place team was led by Eric Knowles from ACTEGA North America, with his son Josh Knowles, and teammates Jason Dennis and Jason Collette, both from Wright Global Graphics. And the third-place winners, Andrew Gee, Carlos Durango, Phan Saythany, and David Lee, all hail from National Converting Flexo Machinery.

In addition to the spirited competition, the Foundation welcomed several past Phoenix Challenge student alumni who are now finding success things in all aspects of the flexo industry. Among the honored alumni were:

·      Keely Brady – J.R. Cole Industries

·      Perry Stacks – Flint Group

·      Oliver Webb – Salem One

·      Chris Teachout – CCL Label

·      Amber Dobbins – Central Piedmont Community College

·      Jason Kaigle – Windmoeller & Hoelscher

The Phoenix Challenge Foundation wish to extend a heartfelt thanks to all participants, supporters & sponsors, and alumni for making this event such a success. The Foundation is proud to continue fostering a strong community, building the workforce of tomorrow and honoring the legacy of the much needed educational mission of “Building Tomorrow’s Workforce.”
