On October 9, 2025, printing professionals worldwide will once again declare their love of print by sharing “printspiration” across social media with the hashtag #IPD25, celebrating International Print Day.

This year’s theme, #PrintSmart, showcases how print in all its forms—when paired with marketing technology, data collection and reporting, and AI—becomes more valuable and measurable for customers and consumers.

#PrintSmart emphasizes: Integration: combining print with digital tools, tracking, and analytics. Relevance: creating targeted, personalized, and meaningful print experiences. Value: demonstrating that print is intelligent, measurable, and ROI-driven. Sustainability: using smarter materials and processes that reduce waste and environmental impact.

#PrintSmart

“#PrintSmart is about showing the world that print is most effective when partnered with technology,” says Deborah Corn, founder of International Print Day and Intergalactic Ambassador to The Printerverse at Print Media Centr. “For printers, it unlocks the ability to innovate, work faster, reduce waste, personalize at scale, and prove value with measurable results. For customers, it opens the door to collaboration with knowledgeable printing partners who bring the tools, data, and strategy to enhance outcomes and show how powerfully print drives engagement.”

The official International Print Day 2025 poster, designed by Craig Bower of Design That Rocks, is available now at internationalprintday.org

The poster features a dynamic QR code powered by Digital Link, connecting users to a virtual assistant that instantly delivers insights on how to #PrintSmart, helping customers see how print + technology deliver stronger outcomes in marketing, sales, education, and communication.

“Print has always delivered messages, but now it can respond,” says Paula Rivero, CEO and co-founder of Digital Link. “Our mission is to help the industry print smarter by transforming printed materials into interactive, data-driven conversations that inform, answer questions, build trust, and provide meaningful engagement and loyalty for businesses and brands of all sizes.”

Now in its 11th year, International Print Day has become a global showcase for print’s creativity and innovation, generating more than 200 million social impressions to date.
