GMG Americas names Matt Sisson sales director, North Central region

His territory includes Michigan, Indiana, Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, and Kansas.

GMG Americas has appointed Matt Sisson as sales director for the North Central Region. In this role, he will support customers and partners across the region by leveraging his extensive industry experience to help teams solve real-world production challenges, optimize workflows, and achieve predictable, repeatable color results. He will work under Bill DeWall, who is transitioning into his new role as director of Sales, US and Canada.

Sisson’s territory includes Michigan, Indiana, Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, and Kansas. As part of this transition, he will shadow DeWall to ensure continuity and a seamless customer experience while strengthening GMG’s regional support structure.

With more than two decades of experience across territory and national account sales, packaging and manufacturing solutions, and inkjet printing technologies, Sisson brings a deep, practical understanding of the print and packaging ecosystem. GMG says he is known for partnering closely with customers to understand their goals, delivering tailored solutions, and serving as a trusted resource throughout the sales and implementation process.

Most recently, Sisson served as territory sales director at Kongsberg Precision Cutting Systems, supporting packaging, wide-format, and industrial manufacturing customers throughout the Midwest. He worked directly with packaging converters and national accounts to implement solutions that improved efficiency, reduced complexity, and supported long-term operational success.

Sisson’s career also includes leadership roles in commercial printing, national marketing, and equipment sales. At Fujifilm Graphics Systems USA, he supported major inkjet and digital press launches and enabled sales teams and customers with strong product positioning, training, and go-to-market strategy. His background in packaging equipment, digital print, consumables, and manufacturing environments enables him to deliver immediate, practical value to GMG customers.
