EIM unveils heat-resistant tags for metal operations

These new high temp tags are ideal for maintaining part traceability where surfaces are too hot for standard adhesive labels.

Electronic Imaging Materials, Inc. (EIM) has announced the creation of a high temperature tag for the demanding environments of steel mills, aluminum foundries, and metal fabrication shops. These new high temp tags are the ideal solution for maintaining part traceability where surfaces are too hot for standard adhesive labels.

With a service temp range of 40°F to 1112°F, this high temperature resistant polyimide tag maintains its dimensional stability through the extreme heat of hot metals processing.

Juan Munoz, EIM’s director of technical solutions, states, “After our many years supporting American steel mills with heavy duty asset tags, we’re proud to finally provide a solution for parts tracking in the extreme heat levels of hot metals processing.
