Bettylyn Krafft honored at Dscoop

The chair of the Phoenix Challenge Foundation received the prestigious Jack Glacken “Do the Right Thing” Award at the event.

Bettylyn Krafft, chair of the Phoenix Challenge Foundation, received the prestigious Jack Glacken “Do the Right Thing” Award at Dscoop 2026. Dscoop named the annual award after Glacken, one of the founding members of Dscoop and the organization’s inaugural chairman. The distinction recognizes outstanding commitment and contribution to the Dscoop community.

Presented during the event in Denver, CO, USA, Dscoop presented the Jack Glacken Award to Krafft for her unwavering commitment to the print community and a passion for supporting the next generation of print and graphics professionals. Dscoop honored Krafft for her tireless advocacy for education, student advocacy and workforce development. She also serves as a tireless mentor for young adults across the industry for 30 years.

Expanding education

Krafft is the chair of the Phoenix Challenge Foundation. There, she has played a pivotal role in expanding educational opportunities for high school and college students pursuing careers in print and packaging. Under her leadership, the foundation has strengthened partnerships with educators, industry leaders, and organizations. The goal is to promote hands-on learning, student competitions, and scholarship opportunities.
