UK-based finishing equipment manufacturer Bar Graphic Machinery (BGM) has entered into a strategic partnership with OMC for the distribution of its label and packaging finishing solutions in Spain and Portugal.

Under the agreement, Madrid-headquartered OMC will represent BGM’s portfolio of finishing equipment, expanding its offering to converters in the region. OMC has nearly 40 years of experience supplying printing and finishing machinery, consumables, and technical solutions to the graphic arts sector, with a strong presence in the self-adhesive label market.

BGM, founded in 1992, specializes in finishing systems for flexographic and digitally printed labels, as well as solutions for blank label converting and narrow- and mid-web flexible packaging applications.

“Our partnership with OMC brings a new level of value to label and packaging printers in Spain and Portugal,” says Adam James, managing director of BGM.

OMC says the addition of BGM strengthens its ability to support converters with advanced finishing technologies.

“We understand the importance of finishing in label and package printing,” says Enrique Rodriguez, managing director of OMC. “We are delighted to add BGM to our portfolio and provide customers with solutions that meet their exact needs.”

The agreement is part of BGM’s broader strategy to expand its international distributor network and increase its presence in key label and packaging markets.
