Canon U.S.A., Inc., has announced its latest full-color label printer, the LX-D400. The company says it is a fast, high-performance 4-inch label printer engineered for outstanding speed and reliability.

The printer delivers output speeds of up to 13″ per second and uses dye-based inks to produce full-color labels across a range of substrates, including paper, film, synthetic materials and diecut media. Canon says the system is suited for applications requiring short runs, fast turnaround and frequent design changes.

An integrated 4.3-inch LCD touch panel provides real-time visibility into ink levels, media status and system settings, supporting streamlined operation on the production floor.

The LX-D400 can also be equipped with an optional UHF RFID unit, enabling simultaneous printing and data encoding to support inventory tracking and supply chain management.
