For years, printers have relied on eggshell papers for premium work. Today, many of those heritage sheets come with longer lead times, higher minimums, and fewer options. Stello, newly launches by Monadnock Paper Mills, Inc. offers a modern alternative, delivering the familiar luxury look printers trust while meeting the speed and flexibility today’s projects demand.

Stello is available at the mill in both refined eggshell and super smooth finishes, giving printers and designers greater flexibility across a range of premium print applications.

Stello’s refined surface and 98 brightness provide crisp whites, strong contrast, and excellent ink holdout across a range of high-performance commercial print, direct mail, marketing collateral, and brand communications.

Built for Pressrooms

Designed with printers in mind, Stello runs consistently across offset and digital presses, making it a drop-in replacement for heritage eggshell and smooth papers. It is also engineered for modern pressrooms, with HP certification for runnability, ink adhesion, and blanket compatibility. The sheet is currently available in 80 lb. and 100 lb. text as well as 65 lb., 115 lb., and 130 lb. cover, allowing printers to support a wide range of applications without additional adjustments on press.

“Stello is designed for printers and designers who expect beautiful presentation without compromising performance,” says Chloe Jones, director of marketing and communications, Monadnock Paper Mills. “With its refined eggshell finish and dependable print performance, it delivers the tactile quality and consistency today’s projects demand.”

Luxury with Sustainability

Stello is EcoVadis Platinum-certified and FSC-Certified. It is manufactured carbon neutral through the investment in emission reductions (VERs) certified under the GHG Clean Projects Protocol. Plus, all Monadnock products are made with Green-e-certified 100% renewable wind-powered electricity through investment in third-party-verified renewable energy projects (RECs).
