Channeled Resources Group (CRG), a manufacturer of release liners, thermal labels, and PS roll labelstock, as well as one of the world’s largest suppliers of reprocessed, coated, treated, and laminated papers and films, has announced the promotions of Ginnie Gandy to general manager of the company’s Liner Division and Alex Hoffman to general manager of the company’s Label Division. The appointments reflect CRG’s continued investment in leadership from within and the next generation of the family business.

Both Gandy and Hoffman are third-generation family members and have built their careers at CRG through hands-on experience across the business.

Gandy’s growth

Gandy has grown with CRG through a series of customer- and sales-focused roles, beginning in customer service before moving into sales and later sales management. That progression has given her a well-rounded understanding of what it takes to support customers, lead people effectively, and help the business grow.

In her new role as general manager of the Liner Division, Gandy will continue building on CRG’s strong reputation for service while guiding the division’s growth and supporting the team behind it.

“Ginnie has earned this opportunity through her commitment to our customers, her leadership, and the example she sets for her team,” says Cindy White, president, CRG. “She understands this business from multiple angles, and that perspective makes her especially well-suited to lead our Liner Division.”

Gandy currently leads CRG’s Release Liner Sales team and is active across the industry. She serves as chair of TLMI’s Label Leaders of Tomorrow (LLT) group and is also involved with PSTC’s marketing committee. She is a regular presenter at industry events and is passionate about the liner, label, and packaging markets.

Hoffman’s path

Hoffman’s path at CRG has also been shaped by broad experience across the organization. He began in the plant, working in manufacturing and scheduling, before moving into procurement and estimating. He later transitioned into account management, bringing an operational mindset and commercial perspective to the role.

As general manager of the Label Division, Hoffman will lead with a focus on diversifying CRG’s product offering, delivering strong service with short lead times, and continuing to create value for customers.

White states, “Alex brings a deep understanding of our business and a thoughtful approach to where we can go next. He has worked across so many parts of the organization, and that experience gives him a strong foundation for leading our Label Division.”

Hoffman is currently pursuing his MBA at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He is also active in industry leadership, having served as a panelist, moderator, and speaker at several AWA events, and currently serves on the Regulatory Affairs Committee for TLMI.

Next generation

White adds, “These promotions speak to the strength of our team and the importance of long-term leadership development at CRG. As a family business, it’s especially meaningful to see the next generation step into these roles while carrying forward the values that have always defined our company.”

CRG serves customers across pressure sensitive materials, blank labels, and custom release liners, with a strong focus on tailored solutions, responsive service, and long-term customer relationships.
