US Converting machine manufacturer Delta ModTech held a groundbreaking ceremony at the location of their new corporate headquarters on October 8. The Mayor of Ramsey, John LeTourneau kicked off the event by welcoming Delta ModTech to the neighborhood. “We are excited that you are a part of our community and our story…the story of the City of Ramsey.” Founder, Dave Schiebout warmly addressed the 250+ crowd stating, “I am proud…No, I take that back, I am humbled. As employees, you have been the backbone of this company and your commitment to serve our customers and each other is humbling. Thank you!” Delta employees have not only been key to the businesses’ success, but they’ve also made significant contributions to the planning of this building project. From the square one, employees have been involved in the design and planning process and are helping shape the new space. In Delta ModTech fashion, county and city officials, owners, employees, and their family members collectively broke ground. “What a powerful and heartfelt way to celebrate this new facility. Thank you for enthusiastically showing support for this next step!” exclaimed Wendy Stromberg, 2nd gen owner. Set on a 43-acre lot in Ramsey, Minnesota, the new facility will house all phases of business for the converting machine manufacturer. The 230,000 square foot building will give Delta ModTech necessary space to serve their customers and provide additional space for expansion. “This state-of-the-art facility has an efficient layout with Delta ModTech’s customers in mind. An expansive production floor, enhanced training amenities, engineering and inspection laboratories, and larger machine demonstration area to support future innovation and allow us to better serve our customers,” noted Evan Schiebout, COO and 2nd generation owner. The facility will be fully operational by October 2020. The company has plans in place for a seamless transition from their current headquarters.
