More than 1,000 members of the HP digital print ecosystem are gathering this week at the Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center for Dscoop Edge Rockies, the annual conference for HP Industrial Print users and partners.

The Edge conference is designed to help print leaders connect with peers, explore new technologies and gain strategies that drive business growth. Over the next three days, attendees will take part in conversations that reflect the collaborative spirit of the Dscoop community, including member-led education sessions, small-group “Firestarter” discussions led by “Trail Guides” around key topics and more.

AI is everywhere at Edge Rockies, from member-led education sessions to main-stage discussions to demonstrations from HP and other partners. It’s also at the center of the newly redesigned AI Automation Hack-A-Thon, where operations leaders, IT professionals and executives are participating in hands-on sprints that use AI in different ways across an organization.

This year’s conference also reflects an important shift in the industry’s next generation of leadership. At Edge Rockies, 40% of attendees are age 44 or younger, with more than 350 participants attending for the first time. Students, educators and brands are in Denver to bring fresh perspectives about the future of print. That diversity of experience and perspective is one reason the Dscoop community continues to grow and evolve.

A Member-Led Community in Action

A defining characteristic of Dscoop is its member-led approach to learning. At Edge Rockies, the majority of education sessions are led by Dscoop members themselves, creating candid discussions rooted in real-world experience.

In Denver, attendees are choosing from more than 40 presentations and panel discussions across multiple education tracks, designed for company owners, executives, production managers, IT leaders, sales teams, marketers and operators. The sessions focus on practical topics including automation, artificial intelligence, ecommerce, workforce development and new approaches to sales and marketing.

“Edge is where people come to exchange ideas, learn from one another and recharge their optimism about the future of print,” says Brian Benson, CEO of Benson Integrated Marketing Solutions and 2026 Edge Rockies chair. “There’s an energy here that you simply don’t find anywhere else.”

During the event’s opening general session, the community recognized and celebrated that March 8 is International Women’s Day, an important global moment honoring the achievements and leadership of women across industries and communities worldwide. They announced new leadership appointments within the Dscoop community, including Rachel Crowther, director of sales and marketing at Cober Solutions, who steps into the role of Americas chair. Rosemarie Breske Garvey, president of Blooming Color, and Devin Springston, president and CEO of Branded by Woods, joined Dscoop’s global board.

Edge Rockies is also welcoming students through a new Dscoop–PGSF grant program that connects emerging talent with industry leaders. The initiative, jointly introduced last year by Dscoop and HP Industrial Print at Edge Long Beach, helps support students attending the conference and exploring career opportunities in print and packaging.

Innovation and Partnership on Display

The Solutions Showcase at Edge Rockies is the trade show portion of the event, a high-energy space for live demos, real conversations and hands-on discovery of the latest technologies, tools and services in digital print.

At Edge Rockies, HP is making a product introduction announcement and sharing new innovations designed to help print businesses expand production capabilities, improve automation and deliver more value to brands through digital print. Stay tuned for details.

There is also a dedicated space within the Solutions Showcase where attendees can explore how AI is transforming the industry. This AI Pavilion area features live demonstrations and interactive tools that highlight AI applications in workflow automation, predictive analytics, personalization and customer engagement.

Keynotes That Inspire and Challenge

The Edge Rockies program features four keynote speakers offering perspectives on leadership, resilience and the economic landscape shaping the industry:

  • Taylor St. Germain, economist with ITR Economics, returns to the Edge stage to provide insights into the business outlook for 2026 and beyond.
  • Nick Santonastasso, entrepreneur and globally recognized keynote speaker, will share an inspiring story of resilience and leadership, demonstrating how adversity can become a blueprint for growth and possibility.
  • Lori Gottlieb, psychotherapist and New York Times bestselling author of Maybe You Should Talk to Someone, will explore the human side of leadership, relationships and decision-making in complex environments.
  • John Koller, SVP HP Print Marketing, will challenge attendees to “partner with the future,” sharing insights into neuroscience and signs of a resurgence in physical print. He’s hosting a panel with three leaders from the Dscoop community.

Serious Ideas Mixed with Fun

While the conference agenda is packed with learning opportunities, Edge is also known for its welcoming atmosphere and sense of camaraderie.

“Edge is where the Dscoop community truly comes to life,” says Peter van Teeseling, executive director of Dscoop. “All members of the HP ecosystem come to the gathering ready to share openly about what’s working, what isn’t and where they see opportunities. That level of openness and idea sharing is what makes this community so powerful.”
