Since Gallus, Inc. (USA) and Italy-based Prati Company formed their strategic relationship in March 2014, the two companies recently re-committed to their partnership at Labelexpo in Brussels. Prati designs and manufactures high quality equipment for the label printing marketplace, including slitting/rewinding, converting, finishing, and inspection machines. Gallus represents Prati sales in the USA, and also provides expertise, aftermarket services and parts to support the equipment from its headquarters in Philadelphia PA.

Several Prati finishing systems are currently being installed in the United States at Gallus customer locations in Indiana and Rhode Island.

“With our renewed commitment to the Prati line, Gallus is positioned to fulfill a wider range of essential converting services to its customers,” says Christof Naier, vice president of marketing and sales for Gallus Group. “We are excited about some of Prati’s new products, such as DigiFast, a modular digital converting line. Prati’s high efficiency machines will provide significant benefit to our customers, by improving speed and accuracy while managing their post-production costs better. Their line is a perfect complement to Gallus printing and converting equipment.”

According to Prati’s area manager, Claudia Fabbri, “Prati has over 2,500 installations worldwide, including several recent sales in the US. The business cultures of our companies are very similar. We both pride ourselves on building high quality, long-term client relationships.”
