IST, a specialist in solvent distillation technology, has appointed Spring Coating Systems as its distributor for North America. Spring will be responsible for sales to flexographic photopolymer plate manufacturers.

According to Massimiliano Mingacci, director of international sales for IST, this appointment is part of a global restructuring of IST’s global sales network. “With our strong growth over the past several years, we have decided to organize our sales network along focused business segments. We are looking forward to supporting Spring Coating Systems as they develop sales of our solvent reclaim systems for photopolymer platemakers in North America.”

Spring Coating Systems NA is headquartered outside of Philadelphia, PA. In addition to IST distillation units, Spring manufactures a full range of flexo plate solvents, including patented low-VOC technology, and Flexi-Lox cleaning plates for cleaning and maintaining anilox cylinders.
