Time is money when converting labels. And with turnaround times faster than ever, a converter’s ability to source products from the same supplier helps simplify the process. Maxcess, a global leader in automated web handling applications, offers a wide range of solutions for industries that range from labels and packaging to nonwovens and metals. Maxcess’ product lines span diecutting, web guiding, tension control, vision inspection, performance rolls, slitting, winding, and more.

Meanwhile, Yazoo Mills, the largest independent manufacturer of paper tubes and cores in North America, is expanding its operations with the construction of a third manufacturing plant in Hanover, PA, USA.

The new 107,000-square-foot facility represents a $14 million investment and, once completed in January 2026, will be the most modern paper tube and core plant in North America.

“The expansion brings Yazoo’s total footprint to three best-in-class facilities with 407,000 square feet of manufacturing space, further demonstrating our company’s commitment to innovation and exceptional service. The expansion project will include five new high-speed production lines with advanced technology to increase efficiency, improve safety and ergonomics, and expand overall production capacity,” says Yazoo Mills president Troy Eckert.
