PPG Teslin substrate allows labels to withstand exposure to chemicals, moisture, and rough handling while also being easy to print and convert.

PPG has announced a new authorized distributor partnership with printing services company GPA, broadening distribution of PPG Teslin substrate for a range of commercial printing and label applications. The alliance brings the PPG Teslin portfolio of synthetic paper options to the brands and products GPA supports globally.

PPG Teslin synthetic papers are ideal solutions for commercial printing and pressure-sensitive label applications that demand durable, secure performance. With strong bonds, easy application and high printability and versatility, PPG Teslin substrates also contain up to 60% less plastic compared to other synthetic paper.

“PPG and GPA have shared a long-standing relationship to deliver high-performing solutions to the print, graphics and labels industries,” says Amy Donato, PPG global strategic marketing director, Teslin substrate, Specialty Products. “Our new authorized distributor partnership marks an exciting next chapter in bringing innovative printing solutions to more customers and markets.”

“As part of the partnership, GPA will bring our customers’ visions to life and help them to meet business goals through the unique performance properties of Teslin substrates, including durability and conformability,” states Kim Hajec, senior vice president of marketing and corporate strategy. “We’re thrilled to enter into this authorized distributor partnership.”
