The 32nd Printing South China exhibition and Sino-Label 2026 opened March 4 at the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou, bringing together more than 2,200 exhibitors across 150,000 sq. meters of exhibition space.

Widely regarded as one of the first major printing and packaging events of the year in Asia, the co-located exhibitions highlight developments in digital printing, automation, AI-enabled production, and sustainable materials across the printing and converting industry.

Organizers say the 2026 edition emphasizes the themes of “digital, intelligent, and sustainable” production, reflecting the broader transformation underway across the printing and packaging sector.

One of the show’s major highlights is the Smart Factory 4.0 demonstration area, where a fully integrated label production workflow showcases how AI-driven scheduling, digital printing, finishing, and automated inspection can operate as a connected production environment. The demonstration includes both short-run digital label production and higher-volume manufacturing scenarios designed to illustrate flexible production models.

Digital printing technology is a major focus throughout the show. Companies including HP, Konica Minolta, Durst, Weigang, and Xeikon are presenting solutions designed to support a wide range of substrates, including food-safe toner applications and high-speed single-pass inkjet systems.

Meanwhile, exhibitors across the converting and finishing sectors are showcasing automated solutions for foiling, die-cutting, embellishment, and inspection, as well as hybrid printing platforms that combine flexo, offset, and digital modules to support diverse label and packaging applications.

Materials innovation is also a key theme. Suppliers are presenting eco-friendly inks, functional label materials, and adhesive technologies designed for high-speed digital printing and sustainable packaging applications.

The show also features dedicated zones focused on RFID-enabled labels, anti-counterfeiting solutions, smart packaging technologies, and flexible packaging production workflows.

According to organizers, the event has attracted buyer delegations from across Asia, Europe, and Latin America, highlighting the continued global interest in China’s printing and packaging technology market.
