Sihl’s PICOFILM receives durability certification for Epson C8000

In a world where products are transported over long distances by sea, the quality of the labels is of crucial importance. Especially when it comes to hazardous substances or toxic chemicals.

With regard to this, Sihl has announced its PICOFILM products 8002 and 8003 with its ZM1 coating have earned BS5609 Section 3 certification for the the Espon C8000 series of label printers. The material is not only durable, but also offer excellent graphic properties, the company says, noting it is perfect for creating high-quality product or VIP labels that work reliably – even in extreme weather conditions.

The company says, “Thanks to approval in accordance with the globally recognized BS5609 Section 3 standard, our labels are also suitable for harsh conditions. This certification not only guarantees durability, but also the reliability of the chosen printing process.

“Following the approval for the Epson C6000/C6500 series and the Epson ColorWorks CW-C4000 MK series, we are very proud to announce that the PICOFILM ZM1 coating is now also certified for the Epson C8000 series!
