UEI Group appoints Brent Singer technical business development manager

He will provide technical expertise and business development support to customers globally for both Universal Engraving, Inc. and Infinity Foils, Inc.

Universal Engraving, Inc. and Infinity Foils, Inc. (UEI Group Companies) have announced
the addition of Brent Singer to their teams. Brent has been appointed as technical business
development manager for both Universal Engraving, Inc. and Infinity Foils, Inc. One of the
largest engraving companies globally, Universal Engraving, Inc. manufactures engraved copper
and brass dies for foil stamping and embossing. Infinity Foils, Inc. is a worldwide leader in the
supply of decorative, security and identification foils for hot, cold and digital applications.

With worldwide territory responsibility, Singer will provide technical expertise and business
development support to customers globally for both Universal Engraving, Inc. and Infinity Foils,
Inc. His areas of specialty will include engraved foil stamping and embossing dies, cylinders, foil
stamping flexible dies, inline embossing dies and systems, lock-up systems as well as hot, cold
and digital foil, and makeready supplies.

Brent has an extensive background in technical sales and operations management with over 40
years’ experience in the packaging and converting industries. His track record includes
serving as general manager of a leading diecutting die manufacturing operation in New Zealand
where he built a successful business from the ground up, achieving ISO 4801 OHS certification
and receiving multiple International Diemakers & Diecutters Association (IADD) safety awards.
He served as an elected Board Member of the International Diemakers & Diecutting Association
(IADD) from 2015-2018, where he contributed to the Technical & Educational Committee and
served as Vice President of the “Big 6” State chapter.

Singer’s comprehensive expertise spans diecutting tooling manufacturing for both corrugated and folding carton applications, converting process optimization, lean manufacturing and Kaizen implementation, and customer productivity improvement initiatives. In the United States, Singer has provided technical services and consulting to major integrated and independent packaging companies, specializing in technology training, rotary and flatbed die optimization, and manufacturing efficiency
improvements.
