Yazoo Mills, the largest independent manufacturer of paper tubes and cores in North America, has completed construction of its new 107,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Hanover, PA, USA. The project represents a $14 million investment to expand production capacity and support continued growth across the continental United States.

Construction began in spring 2025 and concluded in January 2026. Following completion, Yazoo Mills began a phased operational realignment, relocating equipment and personnel to improve workflow and operational efficiency.

Across the first two phases of the transition, the company relocated eight winding lines, 14 recutting machines, and supporting equipment. The moves officially brought the third manufacturing plant into operation.

The phased relocation supports a broader restructuring of production across the company’s New Oxford and Hanover operations. Yazoo Mills is ensuring manufacturing capacity is fully utilized across all three facilities. Yazoo Mills is supporting this coordinated effort with proprietary production scheduling software, which helps optimize workflow and maintain service continuity. Both phases were completed through careful planning and strong cross-team collaboration. The company has experienced minimal disruption to daily operations, too. A third phase of equipment relocation is scheduled for early spring, as well.

With the addition of the Hanover facility, Yazoo Mills now operates three manufacturing plants totaling 407,000 square feet of manufacturing and office space. The project also includes five new high-speed production lines scheduled for installation in the coming months. The endeavor further expands manufacturing capacity for more than 15,000 customers nationwide.

Additional updates, including details regarding a formal grand opening celebration for the Hanover facility, will be announced at a later date.
