Domino debuted the N410 digital LED inkjet label press at Labelexpo Europe in Barcelona, Spain last September 2025, and this press has now arrived in North America. 

L&NW recently caught up with Michael Matthews, Domino global product manager, to learn more about what converters can expect from the latest addition to the Domino N-series. 

L&NW: What does the new Domino N410 bring to the marketplace?
MM: The N410 introduces an entry-level, low-cost digital press to the marketplace from a trusted supplier known for world-class service and support. 

L&NW: How does the design of this press benefit converters?
MM: The N410 features a compact footprint (H: 7.2 ft (2.2m) / D: 6.5ft (2m) / L: 13.7ft (4.2m) with integrated control cabinets, helping converters save valuable floor space. Space is at a premium in most production facilities, so the smaller footprint is a significant benefit.  The press is designed and built for quick installation and setup, enabling converters to be up and running and printing jobs within just a few days.   

L&NW: What about production capabilities and sustainability?
MM: The N410 has a 13″ web-width, 5-color CMYK+W, and prints at 600 dpi at up to 164 fpm (50 m/m). It utilizes energy-efficient LED curing and has low power consumption, making it both cost-effective and environmentally responsible. In addition, the flexibility of digital printing, particularly the ability to quickly change from one job to the next, helps converters reduce waste compared to traditional flexo printing. Bottom line, the Domino N410 is designed to deliver a good return on investment for converters.

L&NW: Are there additional efficiency gains converters can expect with the N410?   
MM: The N410 utilizes Sunrise DFE, Domino’s digital front end. Sunrise accelerates file processing, allowing converters to spend more time printing and less time waiting for jobs to process. A built-in job cost calculator enables highly accurate job quoting, helping converters protect margins and make informed production decisions. In addition, Media Manager stores print settings for each substrate. When switching materials, operators can quickly recall the stored settings, eliminating time-consuming recalibration and enabling fast, efficient changeovers.

L&NW: What is the key takeaway for converters?
